Swan

I am going down to Oslo for two days of working. Will take an early train tomorrow, so tonight I am packing. And when I pack, for two days or two weeks, I always starts with books.

There is one book in my shelves that I have wanted to read for a long time, Swan by Frances Mayes. For many years I have enjoyed and reread Mayes' Tuscany books. I have them at our cabin and every time we go there I read a few chapters from one of them. And I dream about living in the Tuscan countryside. Some years ago I found a novel written by Frances Mayes, Swan, bought it and then it disappeared in between some other books. Tonight I have digged it out, and tomorrow, on the plane, I plan to start reading it.
